April Fools!

7160318c9857cf339b88e8ed8f9143abUnfortunately, it’s not a joke. We have our fifth day off for snow in a row. Throw the weekend into the middle, and the last time I taught a class was a week ago. Sigh. It’s always nice to get a snow day, but enough is enough. It’s time for spring!  I read this blog post on facebook yesterday and thought I’d share–an excellent response to all those who begrudge teachers their snowdays.  Click the icon to read the post.

  1. Just found your blog through this no joke test prep contest. Glad to find you! Sorry about the snow days. I live in Southern California so I wouldn’t know what a snow day is like, let alone five in a row! I’m sure the students love them but I understand as a teacher, it just interrupts the learning and you end up spending more time reteaching what you taught two weeks ago.

  2. Hello there! Yes it really interrupts the flow of things. We were back today and it was really hard to get the kids to focus. But it can only get better from here!
